Art: The conscious production or arrangement of sounds, colors, forms, movements, or other elements in a manner that affects the sense of beauty, specifically the production of the beautiful in a graphic or plastic medium.  We do not only appreciate art from sculptures, paintings or photos. Cuisine is also an art. The “nouvelle cuisine” expresses the chef’s feelings in a dish, the plastic medium. The mixture of colors, textures and forms are really impresive. It looks like a paiting of Picasso, full of color. Even so, do all chefs express their fellings or they only copy what they see in fancy cuisine books? Chefs give all what they have, and they want to impress and cautivate the client. Chef spend a lot of time thinking in new ways of cokking. It’s Hard. At the end, like Jordi SantaMaría said, money does not have to be the reason for chefs to cook. The most important thing is to delight people.
